Howdy, I'm Raeven,
Photographer, Real-time strategy Gamer, Hiker, and uncle to two dogs. I've been in the Product Design industry for 5+ years.
I've solved problems in B2B, B2C, SaaS, & e-commerce industries, either starting from scratch or iterating on existing designs. I treat Product Design issues like a video game boss; I identify weaknesses or pain points in the platform voiced by its users, then devise a plan to address them in the most efficient way possible. I do my absolute best when collaborating with cross-functional teams and being an advocate for great experiences for a target audience.
Outside of work, I enjoy creating content with other artists, documenting my life through photography, and making an effort to stay active. My most recent achievement was a 4-day 36-mile hike in Yosemite, which I'm super proud of. I believe bringing outside experiences into design makes anyone a better problem solver.

Raeven brings to the table a uniquely holistic view of the design process. One of his many strengths is identifying and fixing bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the interactions between design and development. He does this by using Figma to its fullest: creating application style guides, interactive demos of features, and determining when to comonentize functional elements. Using Webflow, he designs and maintains responsive websites, including collecting user data through forms. Using Lottie files, he designs elegant animations to provide a human touch to in-app interactions. Not only a talented designer, he's also a pure joy to work with, and always responsive to the needs and concerns of developers on his projects.
