Mobile is not big enough for this project...
For my User Experience 2 class, I decided to focus on a better experience for creating itineraries alongside an interactive map. Collaboration at this time was hard to do when it came to planning trips and being on the same page.

I noticed a common issue when planning for a trip. Most individuals use excel, or notes to make a list of places to visit. However associating those places with the actual location on the map became an annoying back and forth task. In order to see if this was a common issue, I interviewed those who travel frequently, and those who rarely travel.
I talked to people in and our of my friend group that liked to travel, and others who have only traveled locally.
After interviewing, I created specific themes that helped gain perspective on what other issues could be soled through an app.
Based on the information gathered by the interviews I created personas based on what I've learned, and these personas help me on track to make sure I solve for both myself and the user.
These were the features that i found would help solve a lot of pain points.
I went through a couple of variations of possible screens for each part of the app.

I had a couple ideas about how the flow of creating a new trip would go, so in-order to choose the best flow I conducted A/B testing to choose the best flow for stress free planning.
After showing it to 5 people the majority like the form living in one screen. So A was the best choice moving forward.
After testing, and ideating different solutions, I narrowed my focus on this flow
A little slide function that showcases the features that this app offers.
Theme your trip, and give it some life as you pin and plan your way to a great time.
Rotate between different featured Beers of the month, and find out where they’re being sold. Also, find out where these beers were made and the history behind them
A scroll menu with cards containing the necessary information for the app was the most ideal choice.
